One of our good friends Arthur got us tickets to go to Kenny Chesney's World Tour. Brooks & Dunn, Leanne Rimes, and a couple of other country artists, as well as Kenny Chesney was at Braves Stadium. I had been looking at tickets for weeks, but everything was so expensive. I had said something to Arthur about wanting to go and he was able to pull some strings and got us tickets, for Reese and I, Arthur and Reese's brother Bret. The concert started at 3 pm and I was worried that it would be canceled because we were having really bad thunder storms, but the show went on. It was an amazing concert and I am so glad we were able to go. Thanks Arthur!!!

Bogey was "Having A Ball"
Today I was walking to the Urban Vegetable Garden on the property I work at. To get to the UVG you have to walk by the tennis courts. I noticed a ton of tennis balls just laying on the ground. It was like an East Egg Hunt. The first thing that came to mind was Bogey really needs some tennis balls. So, I picked up about 20 of them and brought them home.
Every night when I get home we go on our walk and then I throw the ball for a little while. When we got in I got distracted by phone calls and my nightly TV shows. I kept seeing Bogey go up and down the stairs which usually means he has to go outside. But, we had already been on our walk, so I just ignored him. After an hour, I got off the phone with Reese's cousin, Tara. I looked down to see about 5 tennis balls on the ground, then I looked in the living room to see more, and I looked down the stairs to see he had all the balls out of the bag all in the foyer, and had destroyed the bag they were in. I just started laughing. As, I walked up the stairs I was greeted by Bogey laying down on the stairs with a tennis ball in his mouth. I could not help but laugh!
No matter what Bogey always manages to make me laugh and smile!

My Love for Reality TV!

Anyone, that knows me knows I love REALITY TV! I don't care what it is, I am truely addicted to it. One of my new favorite shows is Tori and Dean:Home Sweet Hollywood! Last year I watched the same show, but they were living at the B and B (the best and breakfast they were trying to start) This season they are back in Hollywood. Ever since watching 90210 I have always loved Tori Spelling. The show is about her and her husband Dean and also there son Liam. They are the cutiest couple and their son is adorable. They are just the funniest couple and the show has so many comentaries about them and living the life of a Hollywood movie star. Tori recently came out with a book and it is on its way to my doorstep. So, I will let you know how it is and if it is worth reading. Should be interesting! Its on Tuesday at 10pm on the Oxygen channel. Check it out for yourself!
Looking forward to the new Real Housewives of Atlanta and Project Runway.

New Addition to Our Family!
We have a new addition to the Barillari family (and no we are not pregnant!) haha Reese recently got a 92 Jeep Wrangler. It is his dream car! He had been shopping for a couple of months for the right one to come along that he loved. We got it from a guy in Douglousville, Georgia. Its all jacked up and really nice. Its going to be our fun car and also Reese's new hobby! We thought Bogey would love riding in the jeep, but hes a little scared of riding in the back seat, so he lays in the middle console with Reese and I. I am sure a couple more rides he will like it a little bit better or a least we can only hope. This week I ordered him a doggie seat belt and maybe that will make him feel more comfortable when he's riding too. But we will see. Here are some pictures!

It's Been One Year!
It has been a year since Reese made the big move to Atlanta to start his job at Estex Manufacturing as a Regional Sales Manager. I can't believe its been a year since we packed the UHaul in Deland and he went on is own little adventure. I am so proud of his for taking the chance and doing something different than what everyone else was doing after college. A couple months before he moved he came to Atlanta find us a new home. After searching around the Vinings area he found us a beautiful apartment at Post Crest; a one bedroom townhome with an attached garage. He also bought furniture, decorated, painted a red wall, and settled into his new surroundings. Then on September 15th, I moved to Atlanta to be with him. It has been one of the best decision not only for me, but also for the both us to come to Atlanta. The city has so much to offer and we have really enjoyed living her. Like we will always say we will look back at the days of living here with some many fond memories.

Hoorrayy Summer!
Summer is finally here and so is the heat! I thought Florida was hot in the summer, but defiantly Georgia is allot hotter. With that we have been taking Bogey over to the Chattahoochee River State Park to swim and play ball. This is Bogey's first summer and also learning how to swim (or hop as Reese and I say). Bogey is probably the only golden retriever that does not know how to swim, but he is getting the hang of it. He loves to to chase after sticks and then float down to where the stick is floating too!
We're Engaged!

The greatest thing about Reese, and it's something that only I get to see...is that he's always full of surprises and very romantic. Like we always say, it's the little things that truly are important in a relationship, and those things are constantly evident; whether it's flowers sent to my work, or dinner to my favorite spot...he always finds a way to make me feel special even when he doesn't have to.He wanted to figure out a simple, yet unique idea...and make sure I remembered it for the rest of her life! How it Happened: Reese created a very personal scavenger hunt that led me around our communitty in search of letters and roses. Once I found almost of the clues...the hunt led me to my favorite Garden where Reese was standing in a suit with the final Rose. Bogey, our Golden was standing right next to him in his bowtie and that made the proposal. Reese then got on one Knee...and of course I said Yes! We then opened a couple bottles of Champagne and celebrated with friends & family outside with Steak and Shrimp. We want to thank everyone for their congrats and condolences as we embark on the most exciting experiences of our lives.
A bit of Sunshine from the Sunshine State!
This weekend my bestfriend, Brandi and her fiancé Joel came to visit us. I have been anticipating there visit since the day that I moved to Atlanta. They got in late Friday night and we had our friend Arthur who owns a limousine service take us to the airport to pick them up. To their surprise we were waiting outside in the limousine with glasses of champagne to greet them. The one request Brandi had was she wanted to see all the sights of Atlanta, so Arthur drove us around downtown Atlanta and showed us the hot places, (even where Elton John stays when he is in town). After getting back, we gave Bran and Joel the grand tour of our townhouse. Since I haven't seen Bran since December and Reese and Joel had never met we sat around with wine and caught up on everything that has been happening in our lives.
On Saturday, Brandi and I wanted to do a little shopping at the different boutiques in town and also go get me fitted for my bridesmaid’s dress for Brandi's wedding. While we were doing that the boys went off to play some golf (which they both love to do!Now I know why the guys hit it off so well.) Since I been here I really haven't had the opportunity to do alot of exploring in Atlanta, so it was nice to be able to go to Buckhead, Midtown, and Downtown to all of the little shops. Brandi got the opportunity to get a dose of Atlanta and see all different parts of the city.
One of my favorites (also Reese) is going to the Atlanta Braves game. I really wanted Brandi and Joel to experience a game. We had great first row seats right in front of first base. So, we had a great view of the game and also of downtown. Even though the Braves lost it was a great game and I am so happy they got to experience one of the aspects of Atlanta that Reese and I love so much. Saturday night we went to one of our favorite bars, Marlows with our neighbors Lisa and Don. There is always a great band there and just a fun atmosphere. We had a great time spending with each other, dancing and of course drinking!
On Sunday, we took Brandi and Joel to Atlantic Station, which is an outdoor shopping area with shops, restaurants, and lots of entertainment. We went to Rosa Mexicana for lunch. They have excellent guacamole and amazing enchiladas. From there they were having an art festival, we walked around and looked at all of the booths that had all local artists. We finished the afternoon by walking around and exploring in the little shopping area. When we got home we packed Bran and Joel up and headed to the airport. It was a sad goodbye, but I know they will be back soon. We had such a great time with both of them and it was so good to have them here.

Blogging, Blogging, Blogging!!
Well, it is official. I am now what I thought I would NEVER be in a million years! I am a blogger. I have been secretly checking out blogs for the past 2 months. My friend, Mandy, started a blog to keep track of what her son Jackson is up too and also her family journal. I am jumping on the bandwagon and copying her thought because it is such a great idea! And I've actually recruited people to do it too! Even though I love for Facebooking and Myspace, I think this will be a great way to keep track of things that happen in our life and to keep friends and family updated on what is happening out here in Atlanta. I hope everyone will enjoy reading our posts and viewing our pics. So sit back, relax, and check back often!!
